What We Believe
As an autonomous church we believe:
The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative word of God, and is the only source for Christian doctrine.
Christ is the only mediator between God and man. There is salvation through no other means.
Salvation comes by divine grace or “unmerited favor” only, not as something merited by the sinner.
Justification is by grace alone through faith alone because of Christ alone.
There is one and only one living and true God. All glory is to be due to GOD alone.

MISSION: WHAT DO WE DO
We exist to advance the hope of Jesus Christ in every heart and home in Gainesville and beyond until all have heard. Simply put, “Advancing the Gospel Until All Have Heard.”
VISION: WHERE ARE WE GOING
We see a day where every person is engaged, equipped, and empowered to advance the gospel in their place of influence. Simply put, "A Church Advancing.”
- Engaged means intentionally pursuing people who don’t know the hope of Jesus. We base this on the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19- Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit), where Jesus calls us to go and make disciples of all nations.
- We want our lives to reflect the grace and hope of Jesus through daily interactions and relationships we build with the people in our homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and communities.
- The church is a place for believers in Jesus to grow in the knowledge and practice of their faith (Ephesians 4:12- to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ).
- Whether it is through Small Groups, Bible studies, or Sunday morning services, we hope to provide opportunities and encouragement for followers of Christ to deepen their devotion and affection for Him.
- Empowering members for service means we believe every follower of Jesus has unique gifts, skills, and abilities that should be used to help the people around them follow Jesus (Romans 12:6-8 According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the proportion of one’s faith; if service, use it in service; if teaching, in teaching; if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.).
- For some, it may be serving with our kids or playing an instrument. For others, it may be serving organizations throughout our community. Whatever your gifts are, we want to deploy you to use them to advance the gospel.
VALUES: WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Because everything we do is meant to ADVANCE the gospel until all have heard.
- Growing People Change (Authencity)
- We advance the gospel by living honest, Jesus-centered lives.
- Romans 12:9 calls us to love without hypocrisy. We’re a church where it’s okay to not be okay. God meets us where we are, but His love draws us toward healing, wholeness, and true transformation. The Holy Spirit is shaping our character from the inside out.
- We grow best when we live real before God and one another.

- Obeying Jesus Changes Everything (Discipleship)
- We advance the gospel by becoming more like Jesus every day.
- Discipleship is the slow, steady shaping of our lives around Scripture, obedience, prayer, and spiritual disciplines. Matthew 28:19–20 calls us to make disciples who order their lives around Jesus’ teaching and walk in His ways.
- Discipleship isn’t about perfection; it’s about direction. It’s the lifelong process of letting Jesus form our beliefs, habits, desires, and decisions. As we follow Him closely, His life becomes visible through ours.
- We advance the gospel by becoming more like Jesus every day.
- Jesus in Everything (Visionary Leadership)
- We advance the gospel by courageously pursuing God’s plans with Jesus at the center.
- Proverbs 29:18 tells us that people lose their way without God’s revelation. So we anchor everything—our vision, values, ministries, and decisions—in Jesus. We honor Him with excellence in our worship, our work, our words, and our character.
- He leads. We follow. His mission shapes our future.

- Found People Find People (Action)
- We advance the gospel by doing the Word, not just hearing it.
- James 1:22 reminds us that faith moves. When Jesus rescues us, we naturally step out to help others find Him. We care deeply about those outside the walls of the church and pursue them with grace, truth, and urgency.
- Lost people matter to God, so they matter to us.

Saved People Serve People (Next-Generation/Others Investment)
- We advance the gospel by equipping the next generation and others to lead and serve.
- Psalm 145:4 calls one generation to declare God’s works to the next. Serving isn’t consumption—it’s contribution. We are the church, and we exist for the world. Every act of service extends the mission and hands the gospel baton to those coming behind us.

We Grow Better Together (Community)
- We advance the gospel by building relationships that reflect the love of Christ.
- Acts 2:44–47 reveals the power of shared life—worship, prayer, meals, generosity, encouragement, and unity. Community provides the belonging every disciple needs to thrive.
- We walk together, heal together, serve together, and reach farther together than anyone can alone.
- A connected church becomes a compelling church.
God Is Generous, So We Are Too (Excellence)
- We advance the gospel by offering God our best and trusting Him with everything.
- Colossians 3:23 calls us to work from the heart for the Lord. We give generously because God has been generous to us. We trust Him with our resources, our time, our gifts, and our future.

STRATEGY: HOW WE DO IT
As disciples, we are engaged, equipped, and empowered to advance the gospel until all have heard. Or, “Until All Have Heard, We Advance.”
Discipleship Pathway Strategy
Vision: “We see a day where every person is engaged, equipped, and empowered to advance the gospel in their place of influence.”
This pathway helps us move people from connection to commission — from the crowd to the core — as they are:
ENGAGED in Christ-centered community,
EQUIPPED through spiritual formation, and are
EMPOWERED to live missionally in their everyday lives
